One American winemaker received a huge boost when a single tweet about their wine went mad on social media. The wine in question is made by Doubleback in Washington State and has been included in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list. It is also made by a legend of American sport, former New England quarterback and member of the NFL Hall of Fame, Drew Bledsoe.
However, it was a 140 character message from basketball megastar LeBron James which got the Twitterverse all excited. LeBron simply wrote:
“Hey Drew Bledsoe just saw your special with Rick Reilly. I wanna try your wine out as well. Looks great! Can u ship to Ohio?
James has 15.1 million followers on Twitter and that ensured some coverage with a staggering 1,000 retweets and 3,000 favourites.
