It’s all about exquisite tea at The Langham in Auckland this month. Langham Hotels and Resorts has partnered with an iconic British company to create ‘The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood’. Twelve carefully chosen Wedgwood tea blends will now be served in Palm Court, the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born 150 years ago in The Langham London.
These carefully chosen teas include traditional favourites English Breakfast and Earl Grey and teas such as White Blossom, which are so rare they are kept in The Langham tea vaults under lock and key. The Darjeeling Pre-First Flush (Spring) tea is the most exclusive of all at more than NZ $1000 per kilogram. The flavours are subtle and delicate with hints of melon, white flowers, pomelo and green banana.
The Langham Auckland also has a delicious new Afternoon Tea menu to celebrate. There’ll be decadent tea-inspired treats such as Lemon and Ginger tea mousse on biscuits with freeze-dried raspberries and Peking-style duck leg roulade with coriander and cucumber, all perfectly paired with Wedgwood Tea.
