The annual Devro New Zealand Sausage competition went off with a bang as entries opened for the 21st time. Butchers nationwide are putting their best sausages forward in the hopes of taking out the 2014 Supreme Award.
Inghams Enterprises has been recognised at the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology’s Food Industry Excellence Awards, winning the award for Excellence in Eco-Efficiency.
New Zealand breweries picked up eight medals at the recent Alltech Commonwealth Craft Beer Cup at Lexington Kentucky. One thousand beers from thirty countries were entered in the contest with 45 bronze, 36 silver and six gold medals were awarded.
