Ever wondered what it would be like to compete in MasterChef, but don’t fancy putting yourself on national television? Well, visitors at The Food Show in Wellington just had a chance to have a taste of a real life celebrity cooking competition at Westpac Stadium.
The Food Show Wellington was held there from 26 – 28 May, with Celebrity Chef Simon Gault hosting a new style of cooking demo this year – one in which each participant followed Simon’s instructions, cooking from a mystery box of ingredients.
At the end of the session, Simon judged the results and the winner received a fabulous prize.
The next Food Show will be held in Auckland at the ASB Showgrounds 28-31 July.
