MPI was notified of a recall on 5 September 2014: Cotterill & Rouse brand Chilli Jam 350g with a Best Before date of: 17.11.15-1. The best before date is located above the nutrition information panel on the product label and includes the product batch reference (-1). This product is sold in a 350g glass jar in supermarkets and food outlets throughout New Zealand.
Wilson Consumer Products Limited is initiating a recall of Cotterill & Rouse brand Chilli Jam 350g due to a risk of glass contamination in the product. Consumers are advised to check the batch information on the product packaging. Affected product has the batch information listed above and should not be consumed. Food products containing foreign matter may cause injury. If you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, please contact your doctor or seek medical advice.
