Ocean Spray International has appointed Kelvin Bradnam to the newly created role of MD for its Australia and New Zealand businesses as it looks to bolster its brand presence in the local market.
Bradnam has previous experience in UK supermarkets and has worked for major manufacturers such as Cadbury Schweppes and Lion in Australia, across a range of senior commercial and general management positions. Bradnam said he was excited to lead the business in Australia and New Zealand.
“Globally the strength of our brand is anchored by three things that make our offer unique: taste, health and heritage. That, together with Ocean Spray’s innovation pipeline and significant investment in cranberry health research, gives me great confidence that Ocean Spray will continue to grow locally through satisfying Australian and New Zealand consumer needs now and in the future,” Bradnam said.
Ocean Spray is an 85-year-old farmers’ cooperative as well as being the world’s leading producer of cranberry juices, juice drinks and dried cranberries. Ocean Spray cranberries are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide. Ocean Spray launched locally more than 20 years ago and now sells through sales agency partners Stuart Alexander in Australia and James Crisp in New Zealand.
