The Lovely Little Food Company, who make the I Love Pies range of gourmet pies, has appointed Dene Brosnan to the newly created position of General Manager to steer it through its next phase of growth. Dene will start with the fast-growing premium pie company in mid July. He arrives with 15 years’ experience at Heinz behind him. This included key roles across three markets (NZ, UK and Australia). Most recently Dene was Head of Retail Sales at Heinz Wattie’s New Zealand.
Company co-founder and Director Maree Glading says: “We are delighted to have Dene on board. It’s a reflection of the strength of our brand and our strong company values that we are able to recruit someone of his calibre.”
Dene says he’s excited about the new role at I Love Pies because of the potential to build on the 45 percent growth that the business is currently experiencing. “There’s organic growth potential plus entry into new categories that are really promising. I am also really passionate about working for a company whose premium quality food over-delivers on consumer’s expectations, and at the same time keeping things real – it’s one of the company’s values that really aligns with me.”
