Former Synlait Chief Executive Leon Clement is the new Chairman of plant-based manufacturer Raglan Food Co.
Clement left dairy company Synlait in April 2021 after three years at the helm. Prior to that, he had been part of the Fonterra team for 15 years. Clement was Fonterra’s Managing Director of Fonterra Brands New Zealand and prior to that was their Managing Director of Sri Lanka and Indian Subcontinent.
Raglan Food, which started manufacturing coconut yoghurt in Raglan (Waikato) eight years ago, has recently expanded its product range into kefir and condiments, and is also exporting to various markets across Asia Pacific, supplying over 600 stores.
