Foodstuffs North Island have appointed Cindy Chaimowitz as General Manager of Wholesale and Customer Service.
Cindy previously served as Wholesale Merchandise Manager for Gilmours and most recently served as acting General Manager of Wholesale during the formal recruitment process for the role.
Cindy’s experience, over the past five years, extends through roles in the Wholesale, Strategy & New Ventures, and Commercial Operations Teams at Foodstuffs North Island. During her time at Foodstuffs, Cindy has played central roles in establishing partnerships with key business partners including Compass, Wilson Hellaby, Lee Fish and Fresh Connection.
Prior to Foodstuffs she held a number of senior advisory positions in both New Zealand and South Africa, including EY and the Serious Fraud Office.

On top of her new role, Cindy donates her time to the Foodies Foundation as Deputy Chair and has played a key role in developing the Foundation’s Charter and ways of working.
