A little bit early, but with enough time to eat lots of it before Easter, Cadbury is rolling out Creme Egg ice cream in Australia. Thanks to ice cream brand Bulla, the much loved gooey chocolate Easter egg has been transformed into tubs of ice cream.
Previously, the ice cream was made available in the UK before coming to Australian shores.
The limited edition frozen treat is available in tubs with a chocolate and vanilla cream base, swirled with choc chips and Cadbury Creme Egg flavoured sauce.
A joint statement by Cadbury and Bulla said, “We’re thrilled to give Australians a new and exciting way to enjoy the legendary Cadbury Creme Egg. With such a great following in Australia and around the world, we’re delighted to team up to give chocolate and ice cream lovers a real treat in the lead up to Easter. Make sure you give it a try when you can!”
Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream tub (RRPA$6.99) is available from all Coles, Woolworths and selected independent supermarkets in Australia.
Richie’s IGA posted to its social accounts saying: “CADBURY CREME EGG fans … This is next level, available now in all Richie’s Supermarkets, CADBURY CREME EGG ice cream. It’s packed with lots of CADBURY milk chocolate chips and CADBURY CREME EGG flavoured sauce. Goodbye New Year’s Resolution”.
