Official Champagne of the ASB Classic, G.H. Mumm is returning to the January 2024 tournament in Auckland for its second year.
With the announcement of its return as the ASB Classic’s Champagne partner, a cool flute of G.H. Mumm will be the beverage of choice for fans as they watch tennis greats.
Some of the players are expected to visit Mumm marquee throughout the tournament, and the finals winners will be presented with a magnum of G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon on court at the end of the match.
Off court, the renowned Champagne brand will open the doors to its marquee, Maison Mumm, an homage to the luxury of its acclaimed champagnes and elegant summer entertainment. Guests will enjoy a salon-style interior and outdoor terrace where the iconic Mumm ‘Tap Tap’ moment will take place, sending a shower of free-flowing Mumm Grand Cordon champagne high into the sky by tapping the neck of a jeroboam with a sabre. All will be accompanied by a stand-out bar and French-inspired menu, in dedication to the sophistication of the renowned Champagne house.
Kristy Rutherford, Pernod Ricard Pacific Marketing Director commented, “The ASB Classic and G.H. Mumm is like a great doubles partnership where each is complementing the other, and we are thrilled to again be the official Champagne partner in 2024.”
