FRANCES VALINTINE
Frances Valintine has been an educator for over 20 years, committed to shifting education practice and policy, to contextualise it within the current technology-driven global environment. She founded The Mind Lab by Unitec, developed to empower students, schools, teachers and principals to develop contemporary knowledge and practical skills for today’s world.
This year Frances was named the winner of the Flying Kiwi Award and was inducted into the Hi-Tech Hall of Fame. Frances was named one of the top 3 NZ Innovators of the Year at the 2017 NZer of the Year awards.
CHRISTOPHER LUXON
Christopher Luxon was appointed Group General Manager International Airline at Air New Zealand in May 2011 and took over the role of Chief Executive Officer in January 2013. Prior to joining Air New Zealand, he was President and Chief Executive Officer at Unilever Canada. This was one of several senior leadership roles Mr Luxon held during an 18 year career at Unilever where he worked in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.
JUDY ANDERSON
Helping people and organisations to identify breakthrough opportunities for innovation and experiment with their ideas is a focus of Judy’s at lnventium. One of her major motivations is being able to demystify innovation for people, creating an army of innovators in her wake, Judy has a depth of experience in the FMCG industry, working with clients (Coca-Cola Amatil, Nestle & Treasury Wine Estates to name a few) to become more proactive and deliberate with their innovation efforts to build a sustainable competitive advantage.
SAM HAZLEDINE
NZ entrepreneur, international speaker, and number one best-selling author, Sam Hazledine is regarded as one of the brightest business minds in the country.
The E&Y – Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Sir Peter Blake Leader is the founder and Managing Director of Australasia’s fastest growing recruitment company, MedRecruit. He has also founded a wealth management company for doctors called MedCapital, and a wellness company for doctors called MedWorld.
