All eyes are on Fine Food New Zealand this week, the number one trade event for the NZ foodservice, food retail, and hospitality industries. Fine Food NZ is taking the show to the next level in 2016 with new Innovation Awards, a line-up of special features and competitions, and high quality, industry specific seminars on vital topics.
Held from 26 to 28 June 2016 at ASB Showgrounds, Auckland, Fine Food NZ is where businesses go to discover the latest products and services from top suppliers, find the most inspiring ideas, network with new and existing business contacts, and give their business the competitive edge. The show only happens once every two years and is a must-attend for decision makers in the industry. Visit www.finefoodnz.co.nz for the full programme and more information.
Rewarding real innovation
Reflecting the transformation the show has undergone this year, Fine Food NZ is launching a prestigious new set of awards called the Fine Food NZ Innovation Awards. The new awards have been developed to recognise real innovation by companies in the food, beverage, packaging, equipment and other relevant sectors, and help innovative companies achieve more growth.
Products of all qualifying awards entrants will be highlighted in the Innovation Showcase feature at the show and on the Fine Food NZ website so visitors will be able to check out what’s hot, clever, new, and on-trend.
The Fine Food NZ Innovation Awards are focused around a set of categories that fully represent the industries covered by the show:
- Most Innovative Retail Grocery Product
- Most Innovative Artisan Product
- Most Innovative Foodservice Product
- Most Innovative New Equipment
The awards partner, Intermedia Group, will be awarding the winner of each category $5,000 worth of advertising and editorial in either FMCG Business or Hospitality Business. Winners will also have promotion from Fine Food NZ, including through our website, social media and PR, signage, e-newsletters and more!
The winners of each of these categories will then be evaluated to determine the overall ‘James & Wells Champion of Innovation Award’. This special new award is sponsored by national intellectual property specialists James & Wells, who help New Zealand businesses maximise the value of their innovations throughout the world. The James & Wells Champion of Innovation Award winner will also receive $5,000 of intellectual property advice from James & Wells.
