Recorp, New Zealand’s most progressive can manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Bruce Parton as its inaugural CEO. The news comes as the company gears up to transform New Zealand’s beverage packaging industry when its state-of-the-art South Auckland facility opens in early September 2024.
Bruce joins the company from his previous role as CEO, House of Travel, where he guided the business through the challenges of the Covid pandemic. Prior to that he had a long career with Air New Zealand including 15 years on the Executive Team, first as GM Short Haul Airlines under Rob Fyfe, and later as Chief Operating Officer under Christopher Luxon. Bruce also brings years of experience in the food processing industry with roles at Coca-Cola in the UK and Tegel Foods.
Recorp Chairman Rob Fyfe says Bruce brings excellent operational, commercial and leadership experience to compliment the strong industry experience on Recorp’s leadership team.
“Having worked with Bruce personally, I know the value he will bring to the business, and he has hit the ground running since he took up the role last month.”

In addition to Bruce, Recorp’s leadership team consists of Australasia’s leading beverage container specialists including General Manager Steve Lacey and Plant Manager Grant Nicholson.
