The space uses cutting-edge technology to seamlessly integrate nature and science, and take visitors on a rich and unique multi-sensory journey that will bring an unparalleled depth to their perceptions of honey, Mānuka and bees – so they can fall in love with bees again.
At the heart of the experience is a bookable signature tasting journey, inside the Wellness Lab’s boutique 180-degree theatre – an unforgettable 30-minute experience, hosted by beekeeper and bee-breeder, Noelani Waters.
Brought to life with leading gastrophysicist and sensory science expert, Professor Charles Spence (whose previous work includes collaborations with Heston Blumenthal of The Fat Duck fame), the experience takes visitors on a tasting flight of honeys engaging each of the five senses – celebrating the unique and complex flavour profile of each Comvita mono-floral honey.
