It was a case of Murphy’s Law when Four Square Maniototo in Otago had a late produce delivery and a syndicate of local farmers couldn’t pick up their order for the annual muster.
Store owner Martin Grundy couldn’t have ‘hangry’ farmers, so once the fresh produce arrived, he decided he would move over mountains to get them their order, literally. A 4-hour 100km round trip 4WD to drop off the produce was all in a day’s work it seems.
Good on you Four Square Maniototo! They took ‘providing their community with a service second to none’, to the next level by going above and beyond.
