Supermarket co-operative chain Edeka, established in 1907 in Germany, now has about 11,000 outlets and more than 336,000 employees.
One particular Edeka store in Hamburg (North Germany) is currently going above and beyond the call of duty with their charming, old world displays.
The store’s nostalgic coffee and confectionery counters are designed to take shoppers down memory lane, evoking the look of good old fashioned grocery stores in times gone by.
The creative displays are proving popular with shoppers of all ages.
