A skin care product that blurs away imperfections has rocketed into the top selling spot. Revitalift Magic Blur is the #1 female skincare product* in New Zealand and has been since mid-May. The L’Oréal warehouse officially sold out of the product at the end of May and was unable to supply retail until later in June, due to demand.
The product, which instantly erases the look of lines, wrinkles, and pores also promises makeup adhesion throughout the day, an alluring prospect for busy women who want instant results that last longer.
L’Oréal Paris Marketing Director Shannon Watts says the latest four week period data shows Blur sales exceeded $110,000 for the four weeks to 18 May. “Blur is number one for the entire female skincare market in New Zealand including L’Oréal and all the other brands in the female skincare grocery category.”
Watts says more than 7,600 units have been sold in NZ within the two and a half months it had been on shelf – that’s one bottle purchased every 15 minutes.
“The Blur phenomenon has taken the world by storm,” says Watts. “Women want results now and Revitalift Magic Blur truly delivers on this, blurring lines and imperfections in seconds.”
L’Oréal Paris’ Revitalift Magic Blur is stocked in major supermarket chains, The Warehouse, Farmers and around 250 pharmacies.
The L’Oréal Paris brand encompasses the four major beauty categories – hair colour, cosmetics, hair care and skincare. As the biggest beauty brand in the world, L’Oréal Paris has an unparalleled commitment to technology, research and innovation.
